MemScape Support
MemScape is an iPhone journal currently available to invited TestFlight testers. It requires iOS 26 or later.
Send beta feedback
Open TestFlight, select MemScape, and tap Send Beta Feedback. Include the MemScape version and build number shown in TestFlight, your iPhone model and iOS version, what you were doing, and what happened.
Review any screenshot before sending it. Crop or remove private journal content that is not needed to explain the issue.
You can also email support@commutedash.com for help with MemScape or a privacy question. Include the app version and build, but avoid attaching private journal content unless it is needed to explain the issue.
Protect your journal
Before testing a new beta or importing a journal, keep a separate backup. In Files, open On My iPhone > MemScape > Journal and copy the entire Journal folder to a location you control. MemScape does not provide its own cloud sync or backup service.
Deleting the app removes its local documents. Keep a backup before reinstalling. Import leaves your original export folder untouched.
Permissions and context capture
Location, weather, motion, steps and Music information depend on your permissions, device support and service availability. Review permissions in iOS Settings. You can continue writing and reading entries when optional context is unavailable.
Importing from Day One Classic
Import supports the Classic text-export folder and its referenced photos. It does not import modern Day One JSON or ZIP exports. Select a copy of the exported folder and choose the time zone that matches the original journal.
Privacy questions
Read the MemScape privacy policy. You can send a privacy question through the same TestFlight feedback channel. Avoid including journal entries or photos unless you choose to share them for support.
